We went there to Klinik Mediviron Kenari so we had dinner nearby in Soon Lok, which I have never been.

Sayong Choi Soup 

The soup is quite flavoursome but a bit too expensive to order soup.

Duck Rice 

The duck has very thick layer of fat and not that great so I wonder why so many people come here for duck that there was not even duck drumstick left.

Fried Glass Noodles 

I felt the noodles were a tad too oily for us and only had bean sprouts and cheap cabbage.

Yummy Duck

I never knew why this restaurant which existed ever since 2010 when I first saw it, but I never bothered to try it till yesterday, after my manicure and Jonathan felt hungry!

The Char Siew Noodles (RM 9.90) were just simply amazing as it was so smooth, silky noodles with the most amazing char siew in chinese restaurant, in a very affordable price! The char siew doesn't have too much fat too!

I can't believe myself saying that char siew is tasty when I used not to like char siew in the past as I didn't like fatty pork!

Even the soup has duck taste!

We will definitely bring my in laws here next time as they love char siew like crazy!

Tek Kee Noodle House at USJ

We went around USJ Taipan searching for rice places. Our initial stop was at Simon's Nyonya House but the shop was closed so we tried going to the famous Malay nasi lemak which was closed as well. So finally we relented and I came here since there were noodles as well. Moreover, Tek Kee seems to be very famous amongst the locals and nearby residents.

I ordered the Herbal Duck Meat Wantan Mee (RM 10.60) which turned out to be wantan mee instead of mee sua that I usually have in Penang. The herbal taste is very fragrant and the meat tender.

My friend ordered the Roasted Duck and Pork Fats rice (RM 10.50) whereby the pork skin is super crispy. For a non-pork lover, I actually ate the skin!

I could not have any meal without vegetables so I ordered bean sprouts (RM 4.25) which were not bad just that the portion was too much for both of us.
