After checking out of Majestic Hotel for our birthday celebration, we went to KL town looking for lunch place and ended up eating at Old China Cafe. With the old Chinese decoration and antiques, no wonder it was full of tourists.
Being a Penangite, after going through the menu several times, and asking that they change the pongteh pork to chicken version and the proud waiter told me to go elsewhere then. So finally I ordered Ju Hu Char (RM14.90) but was disappointed with it as it was too sweet and the texture too thick from the one in Penang.
Assam Fish (RM 27.90)
The assam fish fillet was tasty as it was full of flavours, I guess nothing beats assam fish everytime I am eating nyonya food.
Traditional Melaka Coffee (RM 8.90)
Well, you have never heard of people drinking this coffee in Melaka but it was served in a unique way that makes the price worthwhile.
