Reminisce

I have seen Reminisce every time I pass by SS2 and used to think it is a steamboat restaurant.

I happened to wear suitable Cheongsam to fit the restaurant theme.

I like the interior. There are some tables with the legs made to look like sewing machines.

I initially ordered some weird named drink which turned out to contain too much milk.

My friend ordered coffee which looks nicer than mine

The Delle Coffee and Tea

When the Shop Managers came for training, I joined them for dinner followed by coffee afterwards at this cafe below Best Western Hotel PJ.

Thanks to Mabel who treated me to blackberry smoothie ice-blended drinks.

We had a great time joking, chatting over cakes, coffee and drinks.

Yuan Garden

Initially, I was quite sceptical to eat the dim sum here as I thought it was expensive and not that tasty. Jonathan convinced me to eat it and boy was I glad I had given it a chance.

There are many varieties of dim sum

I like the yam pao which is made in a very cute manner.

My personal favourite is the Spicy Szechuan Shrimp Dim Sum. The crunchiness of the shrimp can be tasted in the mouth. The spice complemented it beautifully.

The mixed shrimp and pork chee cheong fun is just normal and I felt there was too much flour used.

The fake shark's fin and fish roe dim sum with prawn was also delicious.

Ah Gong XO Cuisine

When my brother-in-law and mother-in-law came in January 2017, we went to so many cafes and restaurants that we got fed up of eating good food. So finally we had something really simple here.

Salted Egg Prawn Mantis

I find it quite dry to eat it this way but my in laws since to enjoy it. I am also not a big fan of salted egg cooked stuff.

4 Types of Mixed Vegetables

This is one of my favourite dishes ever since I moved to KL. They have cooked it tastefully with brinjals, long beans, ladies fingers and petai.

Sweet and Sour Pork

The pork is just normal and I have not much comment as I am not a big fan on sweet and sour sauce cooked with anything as well.

Fish Head XO Noodle Soup

This is one of the signature dish here whereby I love the thick rice noodles and soup so much that I finished every drop of it.

Soon Lok

We went there to Klinik Mediviron Kenari so we had dinner nearby in Soon Lok, which I have never been.

Sayong Choi Soup

The soup is quite flavoursome but a bit too expensive to order soup.

Duck Rice

The duck has very thick layer of fat and not that great so I wonder why so many people come here for duck that there was not even duck drumstick left.

Fried Glass Noodles

I felt the noodles were a tad too oily for us and only had bean sprouts and cheap cabbage.

Good Taste

Since we haven't try this new cafe in Section 14, I brought Zinyi and Krystle here for lunch.

We tried the wantan mee with fatty pork which was quite tasty.

I ordered Lao Shu Fun which was quite ok but didn't have enough ingredients.

Fong Lye

We were at Sunway Pyramid for some reason which I forgot. Anyway, Fong Lye was one of our choices for late tea.

We ordered the combo containing seafood soup steamboat, fresh prawns with tasty gravy and also Jonathan ordered the Stew Pork Rice which was not that fragrant as expected.

The tea is more expensive than the food
