Tamarind Square

We were fetching my parents from the airport, so I grabbed the opportunity to visit some interesting places in Cyberjaya, obviously to fill up the tummy, then end up finding nature at its best. Imagine getting out of the basement escalator and being surrounded by treehouses and trees like these?

Many youngsters come here with the photography paraphernalia for professional photoshoot. Even convocation graduates come here for the Graduation Photoshoot.

There are many restaurants, about 3 cafes/accessories shop in each tree house too.

And here is the spot, where many people like to come for their photos:

There is a 24-hour Book eXcess, the only one in Malaysia. It is so huge it houses Cafe Wolf and also a section with study tables/chairs and even sockets for laptops! I wish my uni was nearby so I could use such a happening bookstore! It's like THE PLACE TO LEPAK for Cyber students

Awesome Canteen

It was kinda a farewell with my colleague Ee Nee who helped me a lot in IT, and she suggested Awesome Canteen so she can eat her healthy food.

The vibes here are quite interesting but a bit expensive, eg. Paleo Beef Burger (RM 26.90) where the portion is quite big.

Suzuki Curry Risotto (RM 27.90)

It has been a long time since I have eaten a tasty risotto, and this was incredible, beautifully blended with Japanese curry and lightly grilled fish. Basically eating here is just so healthy and you don't see much oil. It comes with an iced tea too.

2D Cafe, Subang Jaya

After seeing so many Instagram posts about the 2D Cafe, I tried to find an opportunity to come here for a photoshoot.

There are not many varieties of drinks here, just some smoothies, bubble milk tea and soda series. I had the Berry Peachy Soda (RM 14.90) since drinking bubble milk tea without the bubbles would not taste good.

The 2D cafe has different themes like Egyptian in Subang Jaya and even European in Sunway Nexis.

Eat x Dignity

It was a working weekend whereby we organised Youth Camp at Holiday Inn Glenmarie Hotel for 2 days and 1 Night. I was grateful we made it for Ballet Illuminations which we bought tickets at RM 38 per pax for but had to rush so fast from the hotel to KLPAC in Sentul.

After the ballet, we went to for dinner in Eat x Dignity whereby 100% proceeds go to underprivileged children. The food garnishing was quite pretty and the green curry laksa pasta seafood was to die for. It was spicy and thick and the price reasonable. The cafe was established by a reverent and seems to have connections with a lot of dignitaries.

Fruit Tea (RM 12)

The fruit tea was served in a beautiful teapot but the tea was not strong enough for me.

Iced Matcha (RM 10)

The iced matcha had a tad too much milk as again I like flavours strong.

Beef Burger (RM 17)

The beef burger was served artfully on a chopping board but when we tasted the beef, it contains small chunks of ungrounded beef which meant we had to keep spitting every bit we ate.
