For our joint birthday celebration this year, I treated Jonathan to Japanese food at Yuzu since mum also came at same time. I was googling so much on Japanese food in KL but most of it is too expensive, as in 1 Salmon Sashimi costs RM 50 above.
Yuzu has the best of fine dining and also good taste and service, which was why it managed to maintain the business here from my Uni years till now.
Yuzu has quite an extensive interior which extends till inside and even has private setting. They have fine dining that comes in artistic presentation and also affordable gozen sets starting from RM 38 and above. Each glass of tea costs RM 3.
Sashimi Gozen (RM 68)
The sashimi is just very fresh, succulent, simply superb and come in 3 thick slices for each variety like maguro, butterfish, salmon, prawn. Even the side dishes are fried salmon!
Though it is called unagi set, there are only 3 pieces of unagi. It comes with a huge fried oyster which was so crispy. There were also 3 pieces of thick salmon sashimi. The mashed potato was so smooth with sliced cucumber inside, and shows it is pure mashed potato.
The mushroom chicken soup come in special tea pot and so flavoursome.

The total bill came up to RM 157.75 = RM 136 + 10% Service Charge RM 13.60 + SST : RM 8.16
