Minamotonoya Cafe

I have always been keeping the strong desire to dine here ever since I saw many blogs raving about this place. The blogs do not talk about much food choices except spaghetti, matcha latte and the highlight, the Mizu  Mochi jelly which was the main reason that made me want to come here. There was once we came here but it was closed on a Sunday. We almost thought it was bankrupt.

The ambience is no longer like what most blogs talk about because they have shifted and there was no origami decoration. There are some remnants like cute handmade cartoons on the table to act as table number.

I saw that there was not much in the menu and the pasta mostly are too simple with just cherry tomato and pesto sauce. So I decided to go opposite to try other food for dinner before coming back for dessert.

Mizu Mochi (RM 6.90)

It was a big shock when this arrived. It was so small, just a crystal wobbly jelly on a small saucer with cat face! The taste is just average for me but Jonathan said we were paying for water!

Comparison of how small the mizu mochi is !

Hot Chocolate (RM 8.90)

The hot chocolate is very thick and has a bitter chocolatey taste which makes it better than the Matcha Latte.

Matcha Latte (RM 9.90)

The Matcha Latte is too milky and not like the original matcha I thought of.
