Our Malaccan friend said that Nancy's Kitchen is famous in Melaka and recommended us there for our weekend getaway on 1 Sept 2018. We booked for a table online but arrived at 11 am instead of 12 pm the booking time. Since there is not much things to do nearby, we decided to have lunch early though still full from breakfast in Seremban. When we left the place, there was a super long queue. People say this place is popular because they serve pork compared to other places. The boss, Nancy also supervises the kitchen.
Assam Fish (Super Small:RM 30)
The assam fish curry looks good and thick from outside, but was too sour for Jon's palate. The only good thing is the price is reasonable when they allowed it to be fish head.
Ayam Pongteh (Small: RM 15)
The ayam pongteh portion is very small and a bit too salty for our palate. To my disappointment, most of the chicken was breast meat and too coarse for me.
Cendol (RM 4.50)
The Cendol was the only edible item with smooth shaved ice.
White rice cost RM 1.50, hot plum RM 4.80 and hot tea cost RM 0.80.
