CNY in KK is quite long this time round so we cracked our heads thinking of where to go. Finally Jonathan suggested to go to Kokol Haven, Menggatal, KK which we went on Valentine's Day as Jeremiah has half-day off for us. We had a very winding journey which gave me a headache and had to close my eyes.
Can't get enough of the breathtaking view:
There is a charge of RM 10 for any visitor here so that people don't come and crowd around the resort for free which is atypical of Malaysians. They happened to have a Valentine's Day package at RM 65 per pax with a choice of salmon or steak which is quite worth the price with the spectacular view.
There are a few places for resting at the top of the hill, one at the outdoor bar, another at the restaurant area and also the ubiquitious alfresco french table and chairs at the edge. They even have a playground. This is a great place to sip wine or coffee/chocolate with the air blowing your hair.
