123 Gasing

Since I haven't met Marilyn for a year, we finally got the chance to meet today at 123 Gasing cafe, which is convenient and nearby compared to the coffee places in Sri Petaling.

The cafe is really hippy and artsy with a wau hung on the ceiling and chalkboards on the wall with some life quotes. The food is written on recycled cardboard hung above the counter which is convenient because they can change the names of the food at anytime. The creativeness is behind a British owner.

Honey Pistachio (RM 15)

The latte is quite unique with the taste of pistachio and even better with pistachio nips inside, which was unexpected as I thought it would be only pistachio flavouring.

The Red Velvet cake is just so-so as I am not a big fan of this flavour.

Salmon Salad (RM 20)

The salad is just not worth the price paid at RM 20 for something so dry. I feel it is so easy to sell salad at such expensive price whereas salad can be easily bought at the mall. The dressing is also not that special with not much strong flavours inside. I expected some dressing that's like yuzu or something more special.
