Kyoto Imperial Palace
Carriage Porch (Palanquin Porch)
This carriage porch was reserved for the exclusive use of envoys of the Shogun and high ranking courtiers when they reached court rituals or had an audience with the Emperor.
This garden is a strolling garden and has a large pond. On right side of the garden, you can see the Keyakibashi Zeikova Bridge.
