Have you gone to the new Lalaport which is built in totally Japanese style, after the Lalaport Mall in Japan? It was in the social media news for 2 years and had been in construction for a long time but finally opened its doors on 20 January 2022.
It has very beautiful and modern architecture. It is unique for the large rooftop garden which is quite rare in KL and Malaysian malls. In fact, most people visit the mall for the garden since in January-February, a lot of stores are not opened yet but at least more stores are opened here than Pavillion Bukit Jalil. From the garden, we could see the iconic TRX Skycraper.
Rooftop Amphiteatre that would be great for outdoor concerts and art festivals
There is a beautiful food court with a mix of local food (including Nam Heong) and also some fast food.
Nojima Furniture shop which sells smaller items like Ikea but with exorbitant Japanese price.
The Outdoor F&B Area which was artistically designed.
We finally found Matcha Eight - a small ice-cream kiosk selling authentic Japanese matcha and hojicha ice-cream with varying degrees of tea taste and bitterness. Being a matcha lover, I chose the Hocus-pocus (No.5) at RM16! If we buy 2 scoops in the same cup, it cost less of RM2. I paid extra RM2 for the red bean paste.
