Since we were in the vicinity, we decided to come to this kopitiam for lunch, for once, a non-touristy place. Oh and by the way, if you happen to go to Ipoh General Hospital, and got bored of the hospital canteen food, google this area as it is the nearest which has a lot of eateries like Chinese and Western food.
It seems that everywhere in Ipoh, you can find tasty chicken rice of its own specialty. Here they serve braised chicken with yellow rice at RM 11.20 including all the add-on. I specially like the braised chicken and also the highlight for me was the onsen egg which is rare for a chicken rice stall.
The Yong Tau Foo is also special and the boss kindly offered to serve with their house specialty - thick curry though I didn't order noodles with him. He also kindly added a lot of bean sprouts together. I like the deep fried radish. All the yong tau fu cost RM 10-11 only.
The white coffee is not bad and cheap too.
